Michał Zwyrtek attended both days of GITEX AI Europe 2026 in Berlin, appearing in a dual capacity: as a representative of Zwyrtek Group and as publisher and online editor of the Europerspektywy magazine, which was a media partner of the event. The conference showed that the conversation about artificial intelligence is increasingly shifting from tools and models towards infrastructure, cybersecurity, digital sovereignty, financing, regulation and organisations' ability to actually implement change.
The first day opened with the official launch of the Poland. Business Forward stand, organised by the Ministry of Digital Affairs. This is an important signal that Poland is asserting itself ever more confidently in the European discussion on artificial intelligence, innovation and new technologies. During the event there were also discussions with the Gdynia Export Hub team on start-up growth, international expansion and building competitive advantages in overseas markets.
The main threads of day one covered artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, digital sovereignty, automation, financing innovation and the future of the European economy. All of these topics led to a single conclusion: technology alone is not enough. Real value is created when strategy, finance, processes, regulation and people operate as one coherent system.
Day two clearly shifted the centre of gravity of the discussion. The future of AI will not be defined solely by ever newer models. It will be defined by infrastructure, security, digital sovereignty and organisations' ability to implement change at business scale. The agenda gave strong prominence to AI sovereignty and on-premise infrastructure, cybersecurity of critical infrastructure, OT and ICS, data centres, energy and compute capacity, deep-tech financing, corporate-start-up collaboration, quantum computing, and European competitiveness in the context of the global technology race.
From a management perspective, artificial intelligence is ceasing to be purely a technology project. It is becoming a strategic decision spanning business, finance, risk, cybersecurity, regulation, data, the operating model and the transformation of the entire enterprise. The greatest value is created at the intersection of technology, strategy, finance, processes and people – not in the choice of tool alone.
The event's programme also included a closed media briefing and a networking tour, both attended by Michał Zwyrtek. These were conversations with representatives of global technology companies about practical AI deployments, IT infrastructure management, cybersecurity, the direction of modern organisations, and how the corporate operating model is changing in the age of AI.
Part of the programme was also Deep Tech Nexus – a satellite event of GITEX Europe organised by ESCP Business School. The meeting brought together founders, investors, scientists and deep-tech leaders. Events of this kind are where conversations about technology, capital and science can turn into real projects and partnerships of long-term significance for the European economy.
The Europerspektywy magazine was a media partner of GITEX AI Europe 2026, and Michał Zwyrtek also attended the event as the magazine's publisher and online editor. This role made it possible to report on the event from the perspective of media, technology and business, and the wider European debate on innovation and competitiveness.
Michał Zwyrtek also attended the event as a representative of Zwyrtek Group – a group of advisory and outsourcing companies that supports businesses on a 360-degree, end-to-end basis. Zwyrtek Group does not view technology as a separate IT project but as an element of a wider organisational transformation encompassing strategy, processes, finance, risk, regulation, data, people, implementation, adoption and change management. In this context, technology advisory and digital transformation, AI advisory and business advisory for companies are relevant, forming a coherent basis for management decisions.
Before the event began, Michał Zwyrtek also met in Berlin with Donata Koren, with whom he had previously worked at PwC. The conversation covered possible areas of cooperation and combining an advisory, business and technology perspective on the German and European markets.
The key conclusion from GITEX AI Europe 2026 is simple: the future of AI will depend not only on technology, but on organisations' ability to combine strategy, infrastructure, data, security, financing, regulation and change management. It is precisely at the intersection of these areas that the decisions capable of building lasting competitive advantage are made.
